Liberty III--Progress and Auditions

I'm continuing to work on the shirt in fits and starts, although it doesn't look all that different  because I've been working on the facings. There's topstitching but it's lost on the black background.

Meantime, I'm auditioning the button collection for suitable closures. I end up doing this a lot since digital photography is so easy and you can refer back to it again and again. I took these with my phone since it was already out and ready to go. After sorting through several boxes, here are the finalists:

Do I go with the theme?

Or select something that coordinates and blends?

And would red crystals or utilitarian tan be better?

Or something with more contrast? Blue perhaps?

I've already rejected black because it's just too plain. Which one would you choose?

I like the theme ones, but otherwise the red.

Theme. I mean, why not?

I like the red, but, of course, theme is definitely appropriate!

Theme or Red - agree with the other ladies!

My vote is red. The theme is sort of....I dunno...a little more masculine? But it's still my second choice. I'm loving the shirt!

I'm going for my THIRD try on the word verification... (and I have to say, I'm on a mission to wipe this out!)

I vote for the theme ones, just because you can!

That is going to be such a great shirt - I'm not sure the buttons will make a huge difference. The cool print makes such a statement. Having said that, I vote for red.

I too am having trouble with the not-a-robot thing.

I think the theme buttons absolutely - they are a great find.

Wonderful fabric. Why not go all the way with theme buttons!

I like the tan! Seem to stand out more.

This is going to be a fantastic shirt! I hope you've already made your button decision and are moving forward, but if not....I kinda like the tan, too.

I've just about reached a decision, but the shirt is still on the dress form where I put it last week. I use a different machine for buttonhole making and need to go ahead and do the set up.

I took the word verification off yesterday, so hopefully it will be easier for you now. :)

I removed it yesterday. Fingers crossed!
