New Vintage Patterns

I mentioned before that my ASG sewing sisters are a marvelous resource for vintage patterns. Last night's meeting proved me right, with a Trading Post haul of epic proportions. Advance, Butterick, McCall's, Simplicity, and Vogue from the 50s and early 60s! I'm looking forward to using these as inspiration pieces, for their interesting details, and (dare I say?) I might even sew one up!

I also got some cute patterns that are merely OOP. 2 Simplicity dress patterns and a McCall's sleepwear set.

Ooh, I love that McCalls skirt in the top right picture! And, I have those 2 OOPs at the bottom, but have never made them. I really like the dress on the left so maybe I should dig it out and take a good look at it!

Nan - the blue pantsuit in the top picture on the left is such a keeper! Do you think you could send me a pic of it? And have you thought about using the pattern yet or are you still thrilled with your great haul!?

What a great find you got. Those vintage patterns are so intriguing. I like the bathrobe one. Someday I'll make a bathrobe, but not today!
