I'm working on another 3 pairs of pj pants from my TNT pattern, McCalls 2476. I've discovered that flannel has become too hot to sleep in these days, so I cut out 3 pairs from my cotton stash. This is basic production sewing for me--I stacked and cut all 3 pairs at the same time, then each step was done 3 times before proceeding to the next.
All I have left to do are the casings and hems on all 3 pair. These are the only stages that will be done separately. Although I was able to use the same serger thread for all, each really needs its own color where the stitching will show. However, production sewing allowed me to assemble 3 pairs in just a little more time than a single pair.
Photos when I finish up, although you've seen other examples before.
In other news, I received Louise Cutting's Technique DVDs from Threads on Friday and viewed them over the weekend. Lots of good material on them and well worth getting!

I just got some flannel to make pajama pants because it's too hot for fleece. PJs seem a little boring to sew, but it would be even more boring to shop for them!
I love flannel nightgowns, and it's nearly impossible to find charming ones. I'm imagining they would be easier than pjs?
